Shaped like a tamarind plant pod, these delicious tamarind flavored hard candies are filled with a soft and spicy chili candy surprise. What is tamarind (or tamarindo)? The tamarind tree produces a sour fruit that is mashed and mixed with sugar to create a distinct flavor profile. Then add a spicy center to the caramelized tamarind and this popular Mexican candy delivers one heck of a fiesta for the taste buds - sweet, sour, and spicy. Delicioso!
